Which signs tell you a welded pipe machine suits your production?
Choosing stainless steel welded pipe equipment is rarely about a single specification. In practice you need to look at several things together: the pipe size range you actually sell, the wall thickness you run most often, the output per shift you need, and how much floor space and power the line will occupy. A machine that is oversized for your order book ties up capital, while one that is undersized becomes the bottleneck once demand grows. Comparing suppliers on these four points — rather than on price alone — is the practical way to choose.
Is stainless steel tube equipment easy to operate?
Modern welded pipe lines are controlled by PLC, so a trained operator can run the forming, welding, sizing and cutting sequence from the control panel instead of adjusting each stand by hand. That said, "easy" still depends on training and on the stability of your incoming coil. Strip width, edge condition and material consistency affect the weld far more than the control system does. Most mills become reliable once the operator understands the relationship between forming pressure, welding power and line speed.
What problems come up most often during operation?
The recurring issues we see on welded pipe mills are edge-related rather than machine-related: weld seam defects caused by poor strip edge quality, marking or scratches from poorly set guide rolls, and dimensional drift in the sizing section as tooling wears. These are normally corrected through roll adjustment and a regular tooling inspection schedule, not by replacing equipment.
What kinds of pipe can these lines produce?
The machines are built around round and square / rectangular welded pipe, including decorative stainless tube. The exact size range depends on the model: the mill series we build cover small to medium diameter tube as well as wider square and rectangular sections. Tell us the profile and wall thickness you need and we will confirm which model covers it.
What does a complete welded pipe production line include?
A typical line consists of an uncoiler, a shear and end welder, an accumulator, the forming and welding section with the high-frequency welder, the sizing section, a flying saw or cut-off unit, and a run-out table. Some of these units can be prepared by the customer locally; the machinery train itself is supplied by us. Where a component is not required for your product, the configuration is adjusted accordingly.
Can the line be adapted to our own pipe specification?
Yes — these lines are built to order. Roll tooling and the forming section are configured for the pipe size, wall thickness and material you intend to run, so the specification is agreed before manufacture rather than chosen from a fixed catalogue.
Do you have a minimum order quantity?
No. Every line is built to the pipe section, wall thickness and output you need, so a single machine is a normal order for us — there is no minimum quantity to reach before we will quote.
How long does delivery take?
Standard machines — the models we build in series — are normally ready in about 4 weeks. Lines built to your own pipe size, wall thickness and output, which is most of what we make, usually take 8 to 10 weeks, because the forming rolls and the tooling are made for your specification. We confirm which group your line falls into when you place the order, and give you the window in writing at that point.
Once production starts we keep you updated with progress photos at each build stage, and we confirm the shipping schedule with you before dispatch.
What warranty do you provide?
Every line carries a 24-month warranty on the main machine. Wearing parts and consumables — rolls, blades, seals and similar — are excluded, as they are on any production machine; the machine documentation lists them so you can plan replacements against your own maintenance schedule.
Alongside the warranty we provide commissioning support and operator guidance, so the line runs to specification from the start.
What are your payment terms?
Our standard terms are a 30% deposit with the order and the balance settled before shipment, FOB. Documentary arrangements such as a letter of credit can be discussed for larger projects.
Can you supply spare parts after delivery?
Yes. We hold common wearing parts and can ship them internationally, and the machine documentation lists the consumable items so you can plan replacements against your own maintenance schedule.
Because the line is built to your drawing, we keep the tooling and forming specification on file — so a replacement part is made to the same standard as the original rather than matched approximately.
Do your machines meet export certification requirements?
Tell us which certification your market requires and we will confirm what we can provide for that configuration before you order. Because each line is built to order, certification requirements are best agreed at the enquiry stage, where they can be designed in rather than added afterwards.
