Embossed Colour Steel Sheet Line — 0.5-1.0 mm, up to 1250 mm Width

This line presses a pattern into colour-coated steel sheet and recoils it. The pattern is cut into the roll surface, so changing the pattern means changing the roll pair. The line is built around two 10-tonne hydraulic decoilers, an embossing station and a recoiler. The roll drive sits on a disengageable coupling, so strip can be threaded through without running the embossing rolls.

Decoiler

10-tonne hydraulic decoiler with coil car. Main body 2.8 m x 1.6 m x 1.9 m, about 3.5 t. Feed width 0-1250 mm, coil inner diameter 470-530 mm +/-20 mm, rated load 10 t. The mandrel is machined from thick-wall seamless tube, 216 x 55 mm. Expanding cylinder 125 mm with rotary joint. The frame is built on a 350 I-beam base with an 18 mm steel plate housing. Hydraulic pump station with five solenoid valves, 4 kW, 380 V. Main body rated power 5.5 kW, 7.5 kW variable-frequency drive.

Coil car

Lift cylinder 140 mm with a 90 mm guide, 300 mm stroke. Travel is by a 450-series hydraulic motor. Platform 1.25 m x 1.0 m, track 1150 mm wide x 2.5 m long, car weight about 1.1 t.
